First timer, what do you think?
What do you think? I haven't done this before, but I'm fairly pleased with my first draft.
14 teams. Scoring: Offense: H, HR, RBI, SB Pitching: AVG, W, L, SV, HR, K, ERA C Ivan Rodriguez 1B Jason Giambi 2B Josh Barfield 3B Alex Rodriguez SS Miguel Tejada OF Adam Dunn OF Johnny Damon OF Barry Bonds (took him pretty late. I don't know how valuable Bonds is in a 5x5 league.
Since he misses playing time, he hurts you in everything except for homeruns. If your league played wih OBP, he's absolutely terrific- I won my league with him and Alou last year. But all Bonds' walks take away from his opportunities at all the categories, with the exception of steals, something he doesn't get a lot of lately. I like much of your team, though. Not bad for your first time.

Looks like a pretty good team, you might fall a little short in saves but over all it looks good!

Just keep in mind these 5x5 leagues just count. They don't measure value or rate, so getting guys that get to the plate more helps, and then of those people, those who don't walk as much.
