No love
Espn has their power rankings out and they have the Reds at 22. They say they are basing it on there predictions but come on. there are four teams that are 0-3,at the time, before them. No one is giving them a chance.

We will get 'respect' when we earn it over the course of a season, not after a week of solid baseball.
No one is printing play off tickets based on 2 of 3 from the Cubs and Bucs.

Sample size. I would put the Reds around 15th, but I'm biased. If we start winning consistently we'll move up in people's eyes.

Any ranking before a few turns through the rotations are stupid.

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance. |

Seems fair to me...why would the Reds get love at this point? They won 2 series against poor teams.
That said, I think they will finish higher than 22nd. |
