Honestly, I think it just depends on whats going on in AA moreso than whats going on with him.

Paul Janish hit a double that was followed by a Caonabo Cosme 2 run HR. Lookouts lead 2-0. heading to the 4th inning.

Craig Tatum is on fire. 3-3 with 2 doubles, a run and RBI. They lead 4-0 heading to the 6th.

Dayton update

Now leading 8-4 after Lee Tabor allowed 1 earned run and 2 unearned runs in his 2 innings. Jose Rojas in to close the game out.

Louisville update

Joey Votto is struggling bad. I am curious as to what is going on. He is 0-3 tonight with 3 strikeouts. Last one came in an at bat where he was ahead 3-0. Bats leading 1-0 in the top of the 6th.

You obviously missed 2004 Joey Votto's terrific start in April of that year, or his bad start in 2005 that made his overall numbers look average. He had a horrid second half of April last year like the early stretch this year.

I don't know of a April since Votto has been in Aball and up, he has put together a good hitting April.
