Have Big Papi, Jeter or Cal, Jr. call your friends

I could see where this could be obnoxious.

Re: Have Big Papi, Jeter or Cal, Jr. call your friends

My girlfriend is a huge Yankees fan, particularly Derek Jeter and Hideki Matsui.

I think this just ruined my life, and possibly my relationship....

Why no Griffey?

Exactly.

He's a slacker.

I tried some different name combinations to offend my friends. Apparently, Derek won't say Hugh Jass or Dick Liquor.

Re: Have Big Papi, Jeter or Cal, Jr. call your friends

Nike was running this promotion about a year ago with calls from A-Rod. I signed up to have him call my Yankee-hating friend in Seattle as a wake-up call...but I forgot to account for the time change. His phone rang every morning at 4 am his time, with A-Rod's chirpy voice on the other end of the line.
