I don't believe he was called up last year. Just checked, and nope.

8+ K/9 in 2006. a 1.09 WHIP.

Again, he's a guy that misses bats. do the Reds have a guy in the bullpen that misses bats? Promote him, move Medlock to AAA as he has zero to prove in AA, and DFA anyone over 35. take your pick.

Isn't Medlock on the DL? I think I recall reading that he's out but I don't know the nature of his injury
