My/Your Top 10 Rock songs of all time!
Saw the other thread about the top 30 songs of all time, and wanted to know what your 10 favorite Rock songs are. Any type of rock, from Indie, to Classic!
Mine are... 10. Run To The Hills - Iron Maiden (Don't know what it is about this song, but it gets me pumped to play football) 9. Walk - Pantera (Also a song that played before every home football game in our weight room) 8. Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand (This songs' beat just gets me moving) 7. A Tout Le Monde - Megadeth (I know its their ballad, but this one kicks some serious @$$!) 6. Out On The Tiles - Led Zeppelin (One of my favorites, great guitar riffs in it I think) 5. Let There Be Rock - AC/DC (Great song, the guitar solo's are awesome!) 4. Woman - Wolfmother (Very classic rock type, with an awesome tempo and use of the electric keyboard!) 3. Trampled Underfoot - Led Zeppelin (My all-time favorite Zeppelin song! Sounds great with a really funk-like beat!) 2. Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC (Great lyrics, great guitar, great everything! Best AC/DC song!) **THE NUMBER ONE ROCK SONG OF ALL TIME!!** 1. Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd (Great guitars, best solo in a song ever. Also has great meaning to the lyrics! All around GREAT!!!)

Top 10 "Rock" songs (FM radio tested but still undaunted..)
1. Metallica - Eye of the Beholder (they never play this one live anymore in its entirety - because they could only nail it at their peak) 2. The Who - Baba O'Riley ( no intro necessary) 3. BOC - Don't fear the reaper (see above) 4. Boston - More than a feeling (see above) 5. Pulp - Common People (yes - it made FM radio - a powerful moment at Glastonbury, hearing tens of thousands sing along to "laugh along with the common people Laugh along even though they're laughing at you and the stupid things that you do.) 6. Black Sabbath - War Pigs ("It's about the sad shape that our world is in." -Ronnie James Dio, 1992). Amazing how little this song has dated ... 7. Van Halen - Unchained (...Yeah ya hit the ground a'runnin'") 8. Rage against the machine - Bulls on parade (See War pigs) 9. Rolling Stones - Happy (Keef sings!) 10.
