Roster question
Does anyone know how a rehabbing player affects a AAA roster? They are set at 24 players so when a major leaguer is sent to AAA for rehab, does there have to be a corresponding roster move or can they become the 25th man on the roster? Thanks!

Re: Roster question
When is a player is on rehab, he is collecting a major league check, and is getting major league service time. This, added to the fact that rehabbing doesn't require an option, I would assume it doesn't affect the AAA roster. It's just another guy.
So no, rehabbing players do not affect the roster. He's just an extra man. |
