Re: I Personally Guarantee a Reds Turnaround...Starting Now
I'm pretty sure the only way this team "turns it around" at this point is to run backwards.

I'm down with it Edskin.
Now, all we need is to bring back the "RosieRed 10 run rule" and the Reds are all set!

Re: I Personally Guarantee a Reds Turnaround...Starting Now
These next 8 games could be a huge step in getting things turned around...the Nationals and Pirtates aren't exactly world beaters...
Plus, if they blow it against the Nationals, we can say without a doubt, that we follow the worst team in baseball. Nobody wants that.

For RFS62's sake, I hope it's "impotent", and not "important".

Re: I Personally Guarantee a Reds Turnaround...Starting Now
OK Ed, I'm on board. I just got my leather pants back from the cleaners and am headed down tonight to check out the "new" Reds, post guarantee.
What if they're still steenky? Do I just present a copy of this thread to the usher on my way out? Just curious...

![]() 26-14 is viable given the level of talent of the opponents we play over the next 40 games. However, we're going to have to get a lot more out of our diluted offense, more IPs per start from our key starters, and an immediate positive impact from the young additions in the BP. That's a tall order. Last edited by Stormy; 05-21-2007 at 05:05 PM. |

Good to see you Redsland... and I like your avatar of Ryan Freel's baserunning compass.
I try to save up my strength and only make appearances for the most important stretch of games each year... it's akin to my own personal Redszone Roger Clemens' clause. |

Stormy in the house, bringing some Redskins karma with him-- not sure if that's a good thing or not.
Perhaps, I'm just drunk on Lebron right now-- giddy about my Cavs as you might guess-- so I actually won't be watching the Reds game tonight. But Vinny will be-- and I trust Vinny. |
