Dayton is up 2-0 in game #2
Guerrero is making his first start of the season and has pitched 2 scoreless innings. Louisville is still tied 0-0 in the 3rd inning. Sarasota is up 1-0 in the second inning. Griffin hit a solo homerun |

Re: 5/25/2007 Minor League Updates
Votto lines a RBI single to left, he's now 2-for-3 with two singles tonight both of which have been to the opposite field.

Because he isnt 35? The Reds arent going to bring him up until they do something with one of the other first basemen.

Re: 5/25/2007 Minor League Updates
Avery is another pitcher who should be converted. He is short and doesn't have the necessary secondary stuff to succeed in that role.

Joey Votto is 3-5 tonight and is hitting .319 on the season. Talk about a turnaround of epic proportions....

Re: 5/25/2007 Minor League Updates
Good to see Coffey with a good inning. He needs a day off tomorrow now and then to pitch on Sunday. Regular work w/o too many days off in a row or more than 2 days pitching in a row is the key with him IMO.

Re: 5/25/2007 Minor League Updates
Anyone think that Votto gets a call tonight as a way to interest the fans after tonights debacle in Cincy?
Using the EE/Deno model, Moehler needs a demotion after a very questionable play in the 10th that gave the Pirates an extra out and opened the door for a big inning.
