My buddy just shot me an e-mail and said he might be able to share some tidbits with me in the near future.
He did say this though:

"the "39 man roster" was most likely an indication of a trade, but now that freel and hamilton both have gone down lame, its probably going to be dormant for a few weeks until they are back."

We're up to 40 now with Wise on it. Although, he'll probably be waived in 5 days when Hailton comes off the DL to put us at 39 again. I'm thinking we're trying to get a starting pitcher.

I didn't even look. I'm thinking Wise will be gone though, or it will just blow over.

So what do you think about What Chris and George talked about, Dunn for Oswalt, would you do it?

I'd really love to see the Reds move Hatte right now, since he's tearing the cover off of the ball.

I love Dunn, but I'd do this trade everytime.

The Reds never have a problem finding good outfielders, but their ability to develop pitching is horrible. Who was the last pitcher to be drafted by and play for the them with true success, Browning?

Besides, they face Oswalt what 4-5 times a year? That's 4-5 games in the standings which would have won the division last year.

If Houston does this trade, bet on Oswalt having some unpublicized permanent injury.
