Josh Ravin and Justin Reed

Does anyone have an update on what they are doing this year?

Thanks.

Josh Ravin is the next stud Reds pitching prospect IMO. He's got all the ingredients to become a very good pitcher someday. The size (6'4" 195) and the stuff - a 94 to 96 mph fastball, plus a solid curveball and changeup. I'm really looking forward to his seasonal debut in Billings.

Baseball Mogul also agrees with you. He is a stud in this baseball simulation game with a high peak in the upper 90s(higher than Homer).

Baseball mogul has funny projections at times for guys. I always wondered where they came up with that stuff.

I miss Justin Reed I truly thought last year was an adjustment year and was hoping to see him playing somewhere by now.

Re: Josh Ravin and Justin Reed

What about:

-Rafael Sanchez (2006 draft, rd #15) - age: 20.10

-Michael Jones (2005 draft, rd #8) - age: 20.8

-Kevin Feiner (2005 draft, rd #18) - age: 20.0

Extended spring training???

Any updates on these three would be appreciated.

Re: Josh Ravin and Justin Reed

I know Jones was in Extended Spring Training. I havent heard about the others, but I would assume that is where they are also at.

Re: Josh Ravin and Justin Reed

I think Justin is there due to the fact he didn't adjust well hitting wise last year. The Red's ponied up a large sum for him to commit. Thus I conclude he is getting extra attention this year. But maybe Fargo can enlighten us more on what is up with Justin ?

Seriously. If you "Sort All" in the Reds rotation, it places Ravin in the 3rd starter slot.
