Re: 6/12/2007 Reds vs Angels of Anaheim

wow can we be any worse at playing baseball?

0 out man on 2nd and 3rd, your two best hitters up and u get a K and a pop out to third

Atleast EE is good with runners in scoring position

Escober mows down the heart of the order when he has to.

Clutch.

Encarnacion strikes out swinging. 12 Ks tying Escobar's career high. Big blown scoring chance there. 3-3 after 5.

102 pitches through 5 for Escobar. He comes up 2nd this inning. Hopefully he's done, but I'm not sure.

been that way all year. Balls and strikes are just atrocious night in and night out. The most needed change in baseball is an automated system to call balls and strikes

It might have something to do with the somewhat plump gentleman on the mound.

sometimes you have to tip your hat to the pitcher(with an assist to the ump for the 1-0 on Dunn and the 2-0 on EE). There was not a real hittable pitch in the sequence.

You would think out of your top 3 run producers you could produce even a sacrifice fly to center...

Escobar is not that great... Either Griffey or Dunn HAVE to produce right there

Verlander now has a no-hitter through 8 against the Brewers.

the control is with the pitcher. The only hittable pitch was the 3-2 slider to EE.

In the game of baseball if the pitcher makes his pitcher the batter gets to head back to the dugout.
