Interview
I have a phone interview with a major insurance company in about ten minutes. Since this is being done over the phone, I shall NOT be wearing any pants.
I repeat NOT be wearing any pants. I believe this will give me the edge I need to get this job. Pants < No Pants

Re: Interview
Good luck, Phil.
Oh, and good plan, the No Pants thing. Works everytime.

Re: Interview
I have decided that while I will not be wearing pants (pants < no pants), I will be wearing shoes.
I'm not a barbarian afterall.

Re: Interview
Interview Question #1: What interests you most about our company?
Interview Question #2: Are you currently wearing pants?

Re: Interview
Things went well. Without pants I was very relaxed and comfortable. Hope to hear by Tuesday next week.

Re: Interview
If you get a face-to-face interview, I would suggest changing your strategy.
In other words, wear nice shoes. |

Re: Interview
If you have another phone interview, maybe to balance things out and avoid having pantslessness make you seem too laid back, you should try raising your voice by an octave? I can't imagine a bigger challenge than having to come up with a good interview answer and deliver it in a convincing falsetto.

Re: Interview
Wow. Maybe I should try that on my next sales call. Of course, my typical sales call includes such words as shaft, rod and cocked. Maybe shirtless would be better.

Re: Interview
Keep going with the no pants thing in the face to face interview and wear a kilt.

Re: Interview
Sometimes when you're going for an interview and have nothing to lose you just have to let it all hang out.
(All wait - this isn't the bad cliche thread?)
