1975 World Series Parade

My mother at the World Champions parade in downtown Cincinnati in October of 1975. She's holding my first Reds batting helmet in her hands. Nice threads, huh?

My first batting helmet was an Ice Cream dish... somewhere there's a picture of it. I think my uncle has it.

I had one of those plastic batting helmets. I made the mistake of wearing it to school once and some bullies took it and smashed it on the bike rack.
