Dunn and MacKanin had a closed door meeting today about Dunn getting pulled out games in the 7th or 8th inning.


Dunn doesn't like being replaced defensively.

Ramirez singles in a run on a pitch right down the middle of the plate by Belisle. 3-1 Reds. Goes to 2nd on an error by Junior.

Narron, did it some of the time. Pete does it every game the Reds have a lead after the 7th.

I would say it is a sign that the commincation wasn't done ... otherwise there would have been no need for the meeting. He should have talked to Dunn about it when he took over.

10-pitch inning and he's got his best pitch working. It's really has a lot of drop on it.

I think the REDS think so, too. Otherwise, I can't think of any other reason why they're forcing him to work with Valentin.
