even a girls softball team can occasionally get the other hitters out in a specified inning

I think our starting pitching hasn't been terrible. And Weathers hasn't been too bad with a lead. And our offense (with runs scored) has been pretty solid. So, really, it is the 8th. In fact, I think C. Trent posted yesterday that the 8th inning officially overtook the 1st as the inning in which Reds opponents score the most off us.
