I think if the Reds truely plan on having Bruce playing for the Reds from the start in 2008 he needs to be up here in September so he can his feet wet and get all of the "firsts" out of the way.

Bray gives up a hit but strikes out a guy to leave two runners stranded. His ERA with the Bats is now 4.91. Going to the bottom of the 8th, Bats up 3-0.

Chattanooga down 1-0 heading to the 4th. Carlos Fisher has allowed 4 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings. 1 earned run.

GCL Reds completed a suspended game from the 24th today and won 10-4.

Justin Reed went 4-5 with 3 runs, a double and 2 RBI.

Neftali Soto went 3-5 with a triple and 4 RBI.

Alexis Oliveras went 3-5 with a double, RBi and 2 runs.

Billings losing 6-2 in the 7th. Mike Jones is 2-2 with a double and a HR.

Billings tied the gameup with a 4 run inning and is now tied at 6. Mike Jones is now 3-3 on the day. Todd Frazier is 1-3 with a walk.

Seems like all Soto has done down in the GCL is rake. Could he get a taste of Billings or Dayton before the season is over?

Cantu played 2B today after they put Votto back at First. Cantu was not credited with an error and turned one Double-Play.

Billings wins in the bottom of the 9th. Here is the 9th inning pbp

* Keltavious Jones singles on a line drive to center fielder Ariel Urena.
* Brandon Menchaca called out on strikes.
* With Todd Frazier batting, Keltavious Jones steals (7) 2nd base, . Keltavious Jones advances to 3rd, on throwing error by catcher William Musselman.
* Todd Frazier reaches on a fielder's choice, fielded by shortstop Elijah Rumler. Keltavious Jones scores.

GCL Reds won the second game today 4-2.

Neftali Soto went 1-3 and is now hitting .342 on the season.
Jose Gualdron went 2-3.
Devin Mesoraco went 2-3 with a double and an RBI.

17 year old (and my 1st round draft pick in the prospect draft) Efrain Rodriguez pitched 5 innings, allowed 1 earned run (2 total) on 4 hits and no walks and he struck out 2. His season ERA is 1.82 and his season WHIP is 1.09.

19 year old Josh Beal continued to dominate. He struck out 2 in a perfect inning. He has 16 strikeouts in 12.1 innings
