I had the unfortunate pleasure of attending this doubleheader. Me and a couple of my buddies drove up to Cincinnati to watch these woeful Reds. I pretty sure it was the first major league game(s) my friends had seen. Sixto did have a big doubleheader. You would have thought he was a HOFer' by the day he had. IIRC one of his home runs reached the red seats in right field. The first game had Seaver/Bench combo but Bench played 1b which sorta made for a mixuped awful season. Everything was pretty dead around there as the realization that the Big Red Machine was truly gone. Game one was the debut of Brad "The Animal" Lesley. That 2nd game lineup was really terrible. This was another scheduled doubleheader that has gone the way of the dinosauers.

The '82 Game 2 lineup may be the worst lineup I have ever seen. It looks like a late September lineup.
