Nice pics and a nice win.
According to C Trent here's what Arroyo had to say: "These guys were really aggressive today. In the past, they’ve been somewhat patient at the plate and tonight it seemed like everyone top to bottom was swinging at the first two pitches and a lot of times putting them in play. It’s really, really nice if you’re getting outs instead of hits. These guys aren’t playing as well as they were earlier, maybe frustration sets in and they’re starting slipping to the Cubbies and maybe pressing a little bit." Very insightful. Did you notice that everytime Bronson pitches a good game he plays it down a little by explaining how the other team helped him out. He's a very ego-less guy. I like him. |
