Trivia
Two players have homered in their career first at-bats as Reds. The first one did it on the first MLB pitch he ever saw. The second one hit only one homerun as a Red. Who are they?

Re: Trivia
Oops. I messed up. I meant to say first career at-bat (which would leave out Ryan Jorgensen). Ted Tappe is correct, though.

I once saw an player hit a HR on his first major league pitch in Cincinnati, it wasn't a Red.

Re: Trivia
Tony Conigliaro was a 19-year old in 1964 when he hit a homer in his first at-bat in Fenway Park.
Btw, it was August 18, 1967, when he was beaned by Jack Hamilton. It seems like it was yesterday. He was from Scituate, Massachusetts, near my hometown, and he was one of my very first baseball heroes.

Re: Trivia
they announced at the game, IIRC, he was the first player to do it since Bill Virdon in 1955.
