2007 NFL Predictions

Deciphering the landscape for the 2007 NFL season is pretty easy. All it takes is some simple math........

AFC EAST

New England:

Tom Brady + Fatherhood + New Weapons + Happy Randy Moss = 12-4

New York Jets:

Chad Pennington + Higher Expectations - Element of Surprise = 9-7

Miami Dolphins:

Trent Green + Ronnie Brown + First Time Head Coach + aging defense = 6-10

Buffalo Bills:

London Fletcher - Nate Clements - Willis McGahee + J.P. Losman and Dick Jauron = 4-12

AFC North

Cincinnati Bengals:

Improved defense + Motivated Palmer = 10-6

Pittsburgh Steelers:

Balanced roster + Energetic new coach - Post Super Bowl malaise = 10-6

Baltimore Ravens:

Grandpa McNair + No real fallback option = 9-7

Cleveland Browns:

Juggling QB's + Desperate coach + Subpar talent + Questionable front office = 5-11

AFC South

Indianapolis Colts:

Weight of repeating - Tarik Glenn - Three defensive starters + Law of averages = 11-5

Jacksonville Jaguars:

Unsettled QB situation + No significant off-season additions = 8-8

Houston Texans:

Breath of fresh air at QB + Improving young defense - Still shaky offensive line = 7-9

Tennessee Titans:

High Hopes - PacMan Jones - Travis Henry + Slighty overrated QB = 6-10

San Diego Chargers:

Brilliant offensive weapons + Extremely good defense - Norv Turner = 11-5

Vastly improved defense + No more Brunell - Talent at WR - Inexperience at QB = 8-8

New York Giants:

No more distractions from Tiki - Tiki the player + More weight on Manning - Strahan = 7-9

NFC North

Chicago Bears:

Rex Grossman + Rex Grossman - Rex Grossman = 11-5

Green Bay Packers:

Young talent on both sides of ball + Favre's leadership - Favre's mistakes = 9-7

Minnesota Vikings:

Tremendous front 7 on defense - Mike Tomlin + Adrian Peterson - QB experience = 7-9

Detroit Lions:

Potentially dynamic passing game - Shaky defense - Recent history = 7-9

New Orleans Saints:

Incredible offensive talent - Very shaky defense + Weak division = 11-5

Yachtzee-

Great find. But in order for those guys to make those predictions they have to be VERY well versed in Star Wars, which leads me to believe those may have been the kids in the corner of the lunchroom that no one ever approached
