Re: Fantasy Hockey League?

AK seriously I can rope in a few decent players but dang a 10 team league is chintzy lol, even the gray matter inclined can pick at least 14 players of adequate ability. Personally I welcome a competitive competition that makes you gnash your teeth at drafting errors.

I agree, but easier said than done.

My hockey knowledge isn't superior but I wouldn't be opposed to getting more people.

Like AK said though, easier said then done. Plus I'd rather have a league with 10 active owners, than 11 active and 3 nonactive.

We still need 1 more player.

I know of a guy who will take it if nobody else does, so it won't be a big deal.

Re: Fantasy Hockey League?

What about stat categories?

What other options are there?

If possible can we have PPP (Power play points) rather than just PPG (power play goals). This gives power play assists some weight then too.

Also, what does everyone think of a faceoffs category?

Re: Fantasy Hockey League?

I'm ok with a PPP, the face off category doesn't thrill me though.

Re: Fantasy Hockey League?

I like PPP over PPG. Not crazy about face offs.

Re: Fantasy Hockey League?

I hate face-offs, and I could consider PPP. I find that PPG ends up being more fun. Two of the other people in the league also prefer PPG over PPP.

Does anyone have a really, really strong opinion on this one?

Re: Fantasy Hockey League?

Either PPP or PPG is fine with me. I don't care too much one way or the other. Honestly, I'd probably prefer PPG, but it doesn't matter

Is there a category for shootout goals?

Hmmm... there should be. Wonder what the logic Yahoo has for not having one. Maybe, if none of your teams go into OT shootout they don't want to put you at a disadvantage?
