Winter league question
How do US minor league player end up in the Mexican/Dominican winter leagues. Do they get recruited; invited; does the front office place them or do the players have to seek out the opportunity?

Not sure, but I'm thinking it is a combo of player wants to and FO wants to place them there. I know some who have said it is the most fun they have had playing, but not sure how they got there.

Usually is because a team from latin american ask for permisison to the mayor league club to offer a contrat to play in the winter.Sometimes the mayor league organization has an agreement with a team in Mexico, Venezuela,Puerto Rico or Dominicana,so they offer a great group of players to choose.
