New Budweiser Building and Party Deck in 2008 in the Sun Deck area of the ball park

My usher for section 103 showed my mom and I a picture of a new Budweiser building going in the sund duck It will be Just like the cincinnati Bell area but be sponsored by Budweiser. Thee building will be White. Budweiser is picking up the building costs for He thinks it should be built by opening day 2008. He would not let me have the pic so I could show you guys what it will look like but you wont get to see the bllue bridge anymore from the sun deck area The buidling I think will have seats in it at least that what I think it looked like from the pic. It will cost $60 to go up on the party deck just like in the Cincinnati Bell area. When I find a pic of it online I'll show it to you guys.

I like the new riverboat addition from this year, but how many party areas do you need? The focus needs to get back on baseball and back on fielding a solid squad. It seems like more party areas and more promotions the team has means a lower collective baseball IQ of the fans...

Don't you think getting more fans to the game - and charging $60 a pop to let them into a "Party Deck" - helps field a competitive team?!?

If it puts more butts in the seats, that could possibly allow for more Payroll.

I have no idea how much more payroll would be added to a team because of the installation of a party deck. I can't imagine it is all that much. Anyway, I was talking about it from a fan's perspective. With all the new promotions and special areas in the ball park, fans are more focused on their bobblehead or their interactive menu choices. When I went to the Davey Concepcion game, I pointed out to my dad how the crowd was much more into the game and it seemed to be a much more knowledgeable crowd. Those were baseball fans who came to the game for baseball reasons. I fully understand the need for marketing efforts especially when the performance of the team has been subpar but I expect Cincinnati fans to have enough baseball IQ to know when to make a little noise and not have the big board tell them when to do it.

I hear ya, not saying that alone will enable us to sign Alex Rodriguez this off-season, but it's one step on the road to it.

I agree, Cincinnati fans should be more knowledgeable and historically have been. Unfortunately they've been smart enough to know a sub-par product when they see it, were put-off by the strike and took longer than most to recover, etc, etc... without "baseball reasons" enough, we have to resort to $1 hot dogs, bring your dog to the ballpark, come and get smashed at the Budweiser Party Deck. Hey, whatever it takes.
