Smith c Eddie Kasko 3b Sam Jones p Cincinnati Johnny Temple 2b Bob Thurman lf Frank Robinson cf George Crowe 1b Wally Post rf Ed Bailey c Don Hoak 3b Roy McMillan ss Joe Nuxhall p WP: Hersh Freeman (7-2) LP: Herm Wehmeier (10-7) HR: STL - Don Blasingame (8). CIN - Frank Robinson (28), Don Hoak (19), Jerry Lynch (3), Roy McMillan (1). Jerry Lynch hit a pinch-hit solo homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth off Herm Wehmeier to send the game into extra innings at 7-7, then after the Cards scored one in the top of the tenth, Roy McMillan hit a game-winning two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the tenth off Wehmeier.
