Jerry Lynch hit a pinch-hit solo homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth off Herm Wehmeier to send the game into extra innings at 7-7, then after the Cards scored one in the top of the tenth, Roy McMillan hit a game-winning two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the tenth off Wehmeier.
