I was watching the game and Tim McCarver (sp?) just said one of the dumbest things an announcer has probably ever uttered. He said that unlike one might think, a home run leading off an inning leads to more multi-run innings than does a lead-off walk. You think, Tim? Sherlock Holmes has nothing on McCarver (sp?). Geez.
