Cal vs. Stanford has nothing on this play...
Well, granted there is no trombone player getting trucked, but I think I counted 13 legitimate laterals on this play...
http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/...t&lid=tab1pos1 Glad to see that the announcers remained calm throughout the ordeal. For a second there, I thought they were re-enacting the dreadful plight of the Hindenburg.

Wow! What a play! I think the team in blue was just flat wore out at the end from all that chasing.

Looks like something from the backyard football games of my youth.
Makes you wonder why other teams don't try this more often.

If you've never heard of Trinity University before, don't feel bad. Trinity is located here in San Antonio. My reaction to this and the reaction I heard this morning from a couple of local radio personalities was the same... "Trinity has a football team?"

And a pretty good one in the Division III ranks, evidently. Only Mt. Union had a better winning percentage in D-III from 1994-2006 than Trinity (126-22 over that span). And that's out of about 230 D-III teams nationwide. Pretty impressive.

I thought the announcer did a heck of a job describing the play, I'm sure he wasn't expecting to be all over YouTube the next day...

Hearing those announcers made me think of this:
