How does a humidor reduce home runs? Probably not in the way you'd expect...

Physics also say that a heavier, larger ball should "bite" more. It would take a little more to get the humidor ball to spin at the same rate with the greater mass, but that should be easier to overcome. I'd be interested to see if storing bats in a humidor had an effect on that. I don't know how they are handled by the teams, but that's just a thought I've had for awhile.
