Where Do You Work?
While this may not be for all, thought it would be neat to see where all of us fellow Redzoner's work?
Myself: I work at the Kis Country Club and Golf Academy in Lexington, KY as a membership salesperson.

Re: Where Do You Work?
I have been working at Kroger for the past month and a half.
I worked at a small grocery store for the past two and a half years in south Parkersburg, but once they announced they were closing the week before Thanksgiving, I managed to get on at Kroger and am loving it. |

Re: Where Do You Work?
I got real excited to see peoples responses as this is my first post in a couple months. I decided to hit refresh to catch the new posts every second for the past 1000 seconds. Is that creepy?
J/K! What is up with that?

Re: Where Do You Work?
I worked at Circuit City until about 2 months ago after working for them for 4 years.
It's not surprising that they are having the financial difficulties they are. Oh, the stories I could tell.......

Re: Where Do You Work?
I've worked for a company that makes rockets & launch vehicles.
I work in Mission Assurance - which essentially means I get paid for making sure the pointy end is up. |

Re: Where Do You Work?
After the military (served under Grant at Vicksburg), I've spent my entire career in the manufacturing industry. Currently at Honda's Anna Engine Plant for the last 13 1/2 years. I was the training auditor in my department for almost 7 years, but got tired of all the crap and office politics/bureaucracy and went back out on the floor. And I love it.

Re: Where Do You Work?
I've worked at The Home Depot for a bit more than 6 years, where for the most part I have stocked freight. That is to change soon, as all of that responsibility is now going to part-timers.
I am not sure what department I am going to - but I do know I am aggressively looking for work elsewhere, as I am quite uncomfortable with the direction the company has taken recently. |

My father worked for Ford for 45 years, they finally convinced him to take a promotion in the office in year 42 and he complained about it until he retired. It may have caused him to retire. I own an insurance agency for one of the big three. Think hands. And here in Florida right now, I'm the devil. I was off to law school when out of nowhere a chance to do this came up, and when I looked at the big picture, I jumped at the chance. Best job I've ever had. Within 5 months, we were second in our market (50 agencies stretching from New Port Richey to Orlando).
