Things That Make You Smile Part 1

While I enjoy reading the "Things That Drive You Crazy" threads, let's get positive for a change. What are some of the things in life that you love? What makes you tick? I'll start with a few...

A sunrise.

Front porch swings.

A good conversation with a friend.

Live bluegrass/country music.

Reds baseball on a Sunday afternoon.

A big breakfast with the morning paper.

A bike ride.

Views from Mt. Adams.

Being swallowed by a good book on a park bench.

A sunset.

Roger Ebert's Movie Reviews

Andre Agassi

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

The exchange in Uncle Buck between John Candy and Macauley Caulkin that ends with, "What's your record for consecutive questions asked?"

A Patriots' loss

Gosh, I'll be back to add many more.

Picturing my Mom out on the end of the dock at camp with a bass on the end of her line and the look of delight and surprise on her face.

Putting 5.56 ammo through paper at 100 yards...consistantly in small groups.

My dog always being happy to see me. No matter how miserable of a person I've been that day.

Warm spring days that lead into cool spring nights where you can sleep with the windows open.

Any day at the stadium with my Father.

Working hard around the house all day then stepping back and seeing how nice the house looks at the end of the day.

Re: Things That Make You Smile Part 1

Getting home after being on the road for a few days and my wife is happy to see me.

A win by any of my favorite teams: Reds, Bengals, Ohio State, Xavier, Blues

A loss by the Steelers, Yankees, Braves, and 49ers

Animals, especially little ones

Rural driving. Nothing beats about 600-700 miles of rural interstate on a sunny day, especially in a scenic part of the country.
