Daniel Guerero
Just curious if anybody has a decent scouting report on this guy. He put up decent numbers in A ball last year and even made 1 start in AAA (circumstances?). He got hit a little bit, but the peripherals were solid -- 8.5 K/9, 2.3 BB/9, .9 HR/9
He's 22 (23 in July) and should start the year in Sarasota. What's the word?

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance. |

Well, he was so highly regarded before the season that the Reds kept him in extended spring training until they could find him a spot on the Dragons. And this was after he'd already posted a 3.94 ERA there the year before.
