Wes Helms, anyone?
According to BP's website, Philly's signing of Pedro Feliz makes Helms available. Any interest in him at a reasonable price as a RH bench bat? And what would constitute a reasonable price?

He actually makes 2.75 in 2008. He has an option for 2009, don't know if it is club, player, or mutual.

anyway, don't blame me, i'm only trying to accommodate one of the more reasonable solutions posed by those who are convinced the Reds need to add a RH corner guy with some pop.

me? i like keppinger as the RH platoon guy at first.

Sorry about the false information in my post.

I read somewhere that Helms was signed for 5.5m. I Should have known it was split into a two year deal.

The problem with Norris Hopper being on the team is that someone might get some harebrained notion that he deserves significant playing time.

Fluke or not, If he continues to hit over .300 I'd put him on the roster. What is so hairbrained about that?
