I don't think it was so bad. Better than Rookie of the Year or The Scout. I liked the radio announcer who spewed all these arcane stats. Plus Jr. was in it. It also didn't have a cliche ending.

Rookie of The Year was the worst sports movie I've ever seen. It's partly because of the lack of real MLB players.
