Calvin Medlock

For the record, he's pitched 3 innings, allowing 1 hit, with 5 Ks so far this spring...

too bad he never got the chance to prove his stuff in Cincinnati.

Re: Calvin Medlock

He also threw away Cantu too. Would have been nice to have him on the bench this year instead of giving him up for the Rule V pick that was a waste of space and time. I guess all Rule V's can't be as prosporous as Josh Hamilton I suppose.

Re: Calvin Medlock

no great loss on either one of them. Cantu was horrible defensively and he couldnt hit righties at all. Everybody was clamoring for Votto around here so here's his shot. Why does he have to sit against lefties. Let the kid play if he hits lefties he hits um if not we can sure find a better platoon player then Jorge Cantu. Calvin Medlock is no great loss either. Salmon is better than him you can find a player of the caliber of Calvin Medlock anywhere. There a dime a dozen every teams got about 10 of um in the minors.
