That was Daniel Herrera, the second arm obtained in the Hamilton deal.

He also throws a screwball

Yeah Herrera also showed a decent slider too. But I was equally impressed with Josh Roenicke and Pedro Viola. Both Roenicke and Viola threw scoreless with one strikeout a piece. I expect to see both of those guys in Cincy sometime during the 2008 season.

All three were impressive. First time I've gotten to watch the Reds this year. Herrera was fun to watch. Gotta like a guy that throws it up there at 86 and follows it with 66. Dunn hit one out today.

He throws them even slower then that. I saw him pitch in college once, during one of those crazy FSN college games. His changeup can be described as Bugs Bunny-esque.
