No Hitter thru 6 for Matt Cain against Cardinals...

I would love to see the Cards get no-hit...

Giants' bats aren't really helping him. Only one hit off Wellemeyer thus far in a 0-0 tie.

The Reds starters should take notes. Throw a no hitter and homer, and you'll win every time out

The Giants offense is terrible. They could lose 100+ games this season despite having a nice rotation that consists of Matt Cain, Tim Lincecum, Jonathan Sanchez, Kevin Correria, and Barry Zito.

I love the new feature that Gameday has added. When someone scores they place a little video icon beside the score description that you can click on and watch the scoring play. That's a neat little feature.

I figured the Cardinals would continue their hot start by sweeping the Giants in this four game series or at least take three of four, but the Giants won game one and are leading this game 2-0 in the 6th. Hopefully Cain can hold on.

Cain has thrown 81 pitches through the 6, not bad

Re: No Hitter thru 6 for Matt Cain against Cardinals...

John Bowker, who was just called up, just belted a 3-run HR to give the Giants a 5-0 lead! The Giants come into this series having score four runs or less in every game this season; They've scored five runs in a game twice in this series.

That error was huge for the Giants. Out #3 turned into 4 runs

Nice to see the Cards losing

Pujols doubles to leadoff the 7th.

No-no is gone.

Again wow, first pitch Floyd threw today once I turned the game on was the end of his no hit bid. Same for Cain. My bad guys.

Re: No Hitter thru 6 for Matt Cain against Cardinals...

It's only a matter of time before Matt Cain throws a no-hitter. Today was his 73rd major league start and this is the 7th time in 73 starts that he has thrown at least 6 innings of 1 hit ball. That's pretty amazing. He'll get one before long.
