RH hit .143 and lefties .289? Can anyone say ROOGY? At his point with pitchers the Reds have to ask who you'd move off the roster to make room. I don't see him as being better than anyone the Reds have now. I say no.

If he clears waivers and can sign as a minor league free agent, I say go for it. If we have to find room on the 40 man roster for him, I think that's problematic and would make it difficult to take him.

I would love to have him in AAA, but until he shows more there, I'd hate to have him on the big league club. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Reds make room for him, though. He seems to be Krivsky's kind of pitcher (pitches to contact).
The guy is still young and still has time to improve his pitches and command. He might even figure out how to add a little to his fastball. |
