Check out the OPS's of the first five hitters in the Sarasota lineup:

.832
.789
.958
.979
.928

Pretty darn good, especially in a pitcher friendly league.

No doubt. I don't think there will be any dropoff when Valaika goes to Chattanooga and Frazier takes his spot either.

Vazquez surrenders a run in the first.

Sarasota trails 1-0 after one inning.

Juan Francisco belts a solo HR (#3). That gives him 10 XBH in 49 atbats (7 doubles, 3 homers).

Stubbs K'd.

Looks like Mr. Francisco hit another home run. Think Reds have room for a third baseman? A lefty power hitter?

Watching these farm teams is more exciting than. . . you know what.

Francisco and Valaika to Chattanooga.
Waring and Frazier to Sarasota.

I'd give it three more weeks. Stubbs should be on the plane with Juan and Chris as well.

He did, but I think he went all left last year. Unsure if he is back to switching this year.

I thought the same thing. Unfortunately it's Luis, not Neftali.
