Meanwhile, check out the team that had the highest operating profit. I have a feeling that most of that profit went to new pairs of leather pants. |

I found it amusing that Marty and Brantley were talking about the Cubs huge payroll, and acted as if the Cubs had little or no money to address some of their needs (like a LH hitter). The Cubs have plenty of money, they just have been sandbagging for the past decade or so (prior to 2007).
