Because the guy who said he started the whole thing just said he made the entire thing up.

Because there is no reason to deny a trade someone made up on a message board. If they denied every trade someone said was going to happen on a message board that would be all they ever did.

Hilarious. I've never before seen someone admit to something like this. You don't belong to the UK rivals msgboard do you? Sounds right up their alley.

As for this rumor, something this big would be impossible to keep away from trusted sources. Too many lawyers, accountants, managers, agents, personal assistants, gardners, etc. to keep from hitting the airwaves.

Its the Allstar Break, who cares if he creates noise. I really didn't feel like reading about the Homerun derby, or people complaining about Selig calling the game in a tie a few years back. Get over yourself.

Probably because they don't care what we think is going on. Probably pretty busy trying to put together real deals. Just a little website rumor. Dosen't even get a confirmation or clarification one way or another. It's fun for us to speculate though.

Razor: Nobody is making you out to be the "bad guy" here...it's just something to know about how this board works...if you want to make something up....don't.

You don't mean me? I didn't make anything up. I am not the one who started this on that other board, I just jumped in a few pages into that thread, because of how ridiculous it was.

In fairness to Razor Shines, I don't think he said that he started it, and I don't think he started it. He just simply posted on ESPN message boards that he talked to Tracy Jones and Tracy Jones verified it. Like Tracy Jones is a credible source since he "played the game".

I don't see where he should be neg'd. He didn't make up the whole rumor, he was just adding a smart comment on to the rumor on ESPN. No harm done being a smart . It's got me to where I am today.
