Yep, I think both those moves happen at the same time. And I'm hoping it's not for at least another month.

I'd also like to see Josh Roenicke promoted to Louisville very soon.

Call me crazy, but I'm not going to put much faith in a gimmick-pitch reliever.

I just can't get past his size. Does he really only weigh 145 lbs? I'm picturing a jockey from Keeneland throwing a baseball.

Is he throwing a lot of groundballs in AA?

Yes he was.

Sea Ray, yeah he was. 58% groundballs this year so far.

agreed. But, as a throw in on the Hamilton deal, I wasn't expecting much. Still he may be worth a look. Especially if he keeps up those groundball numbers.

Re: Danny Ray Herrera promoted to AAA Louisville

Four of the five earned runs the guy gave up were in one appearance.

Without that he's got 1 ER in 16.2 IP. One thing I did notice is that his strikeout rate is down a tad from last year- in the Texas League he whiffed 64 in 52.1 IP. He's only got 10 in 17.2 in the Southern. His groundball rate is down some too, although batters are hitting just .211 overall.
