Jon Lester completes no-hitter against KC

Jon Lester of the Red Sox is pitching a no-hitter through 6 against the Royals. Game is on in HD on Extra Innings.

Any idea how to get the HD to work? I've got HD, but for some reason I'm getting the standard signal. The EI guide says it should be HD... Different channel?

'Tek homers. Sox up 7-0, btw.

I get Extra Innings through cable and they have a special channel for HD games. So it is on the regular Extra Innings channel in SD but I have it on the HD channel in HD.

Huh. I have it through Comcast -- wasn't aware of a special HD channel. I'll dig around a bit. Reds/Dodgers is on the HD channel too apparently.

Should be a channel called GameHD and that is where they put the HD games. Usually get about 10 to 15 games a week in HD on that channel. I have Time Warner but look for it around where your other HD channels are.

No-hitter through 7 as he strikes out Guillen. Not sure if they will let him finish this as he is close to 100 pitches.

On Time Warner and a lot of other cable companies they have a channel called GameHD where they carry some of the Extra Innings games in HD. I am not sure how the satellite services do it but if you have cable you might be able to find that channel.

Re: Jon Lester no-hitter through 6

They let him start on 3 days rest a few weeks ago when the rest of the rotation all had the flu, so it's not like they baby him. I would think they'd let him keep going unless it gets ridiculous.

ExtraInnings superfan just went down to 50 bucks by the way. Just FYI for those who were considering.

I have Time Warner... searched through all my HD channels and can't find the damn thing. Maybe TW here in Cleveland doesn't carry it??
