I'm not sure. MILB could've just had the wrong scheduled starter listed.

Sarasota is down to one catcher now.( Rodriguez) I wonder who they will bring up? They did use Tordi but he is in AA now and Denove that just came back from AA BUT... leaves today for AA again, because Kroski may have a torn ACL.

Just been listening to game on Bats radio.
Kelch said Lehr was supposed to go but pulled by Sweet saying mngr's decision and said it was all he could say. Kelch said he would announce anything as soon as he found out.

No score in the 4th. Andy Phillips has the lone hit for the Bats. Bruce is 0-2 with 2 K's. He needs another 6 or 8 weeks in AAA.

Maybe they can bring Tony Esquer back, though he might be a bit miffed about getting cut last week...unless he already found another team.

Bruce does not need another 6-8 weeks of AAA.

It's cool. I was just trying to get OBM spun up.

Alvin Colina hit a 2 run HR and the Bats are leading 2-0 in the 6th.

Re: Wednesday May 21st minor league updates

I have never seen a minor league team employ the shift before until today against Jay Bruce. So he takes the 0-2 pitches and lines it into left field.
