Volquez or CC for Bruce?

I'm stacked at SP and lead my league in W's and K's.Took a hit in OF when Vernon Wells went on DL.My top 3 SP,Volquez,CC,and Micah Owings.

Re: Volquez or CC for Bruce?

Why not drop Owings? He's clearly the worst of those three pitchers.

You'd really give up one of the 2 better pitchers in baseball for a rookie who happened to have an insane 1st night in the bigs?

I am a huge Bruce fan and would love to have him on my fantasy teams but I would never give up CC or Volquez to get him.

Even if Volquez comes back to earth some, he's still going to be a Top 15 SP the rest of the season.

I guess if you have faith Bruce will put up a Braun like rest of the year, he may be worth it.

My stance on fantasy baseball- I play to win, not to have all my favorite players. That is grossly overpaying.

Offer some sort of a package deal with lesser guys, which shouldn't be hard if your pitching is as stacked as you lead on.

I'm playin to win,i'm 4 points behind the leader in a 20 team deep roto league.I need power, all I have right now is Ryan Howard as my primary source.Have Vernon wells on dl who was my other source. The last place team has Bruce, however he's not coming off him for nothing, especially after the way Bruce is playing. And a package deal of lesser players for Jay Bruce?I'd love to being playing in your league.

Re: Volquez or CC for Bruce?

I just offered up an underachieving Grady Sizemore for Bruce in a trade. Hope like heck the guy bites.

I'm not trying to brag but I drafted him with my last pick and just let him sit. Lucky me

I picked him off waivers the week before he came up. Thank goodness there are no other Reds fans in my league.
