Homer to start in 5th spot

Home was pulled today after only 2 and 2/3 innings, he allowed 2 runs. I think the quick pull is a strong indication that he was on a very limited pitch limit and is going to pitch in Fogg's spot in the rotation.

I'm actually happy that Homer is getting another crack in the big leagues, kinda just sucks that its against the hot hitting Phillies. This would be a great game for him to prove hisself though.

Re: Homer to start in 5th spot

Actually, Hal McCoy released the news well before the game even started that he'd be coming out after 2 innings. As it turns out it was after a 50 ball pitch count...ended up 2.2 innings.

No "official" announcement as of yet, but it's coming soon I'm sure. During the Bats radio broadcast, they did state that Homer was headed to Louisville. So I'd say that's certain as you can get without an official statement from the Reds.
