I wasn't referring to Dusty, who, of course, would never have been hired in a rational universe. But Pole and Jacoby might well be looking for other jobs, IMHO, and as soon as possible.

Jojo, what do you think of McLaren's decision to move RA Dickey into the rotation? I thought that move stunk. Dickey was a bullpen saver picking up the innings after short starts of which there were plenty. He was a good change of pace coming in from the pen and he gave them good innings. By starting him he gets more exposed and can rarely achieve the innings he does as a reliever.

I think RA can be a valuable contributor as a long man out of the pen but you lose that benefit when you move him to the rotation.
