Yeah, but we're in Canada, so that's really like 6-1 now.

Bruce with a one out single. His earlier sac fly was a homer in GAb.

I'm guessing that his favorite player was Hank Aaron?

You've forgotten, the exchange rates are closer - we're still getting our brains beat out.

Nope. Finley thought the teenager resembled young Hank Aaron so he started calling him Hammer. When Stanley later started recording he kept the nickname as MC Hammer.

I figured it had something to do with Aaron.

Re: 6/24/08 vs Blue Jays, eh.

Stanley's older brother Louis was best friends with Rickey Henderson, that's how Finley met Stanley. He liked the kid and made him his personal assistant. For a couple seasons when Charley was out of town Stanley would sit in Finley's box and relay phoned in orders to the manager. Play so and so. Pinch run Washington now. It drove the manager and players crazy.

Bako fans. 3 down

Re: 6/24/08 vs Blue Jays, eh.

Javy Valentin is playing third base again. I really hope he botches several balls so we never have to witness this again.
