You just know Turner is going to make it to the majors as a utility guy who plays like his hair is on fire...and Reds fans will love him.

Lookouts threatening in the 7th. Dorn was HBP and Valaika singled after him. No outs with Cumberland coming up.

Re: Wednesday July 2nd minor league updates

Chris Valaika is one of the Reds' best prospects, right? Well, maybe people would give Turner more respect if they saw these numbers:

Code:
Year Age Tm Lg Lvl Aff G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS SB CS SB% SH SF IBB HBP GDP
Valaika 288 1120 174 338 72 9 32 191 78 243 .302 .356 .468 .824 7 11 39% 5 18 0 26 31
Turner 249 965 168 298 56 8 19 133 94 151 .309 .379 .442 .821 28 11 72% 1 9 1 20 19
Valaika has noticeably better power numbers, but Justin Turner has been looking almost equally as good since being drafted. That might be an excellent tandem up the middle in a couple years.

Craig Tatum just drove in one and the Lookouts are now up 8-4 with runners at 2nd and 3rd still. Tatum is 3-4 with 3 RBI.

Bases now loaded after hitting Gutierrez on the elbow and the top of the lineup is on its way up.
