Re: Monday July 7th minor league updates

I'm going to the Charlotte Knights game tonight where Danny Graves is the probable starter for the Twins AAA team. Can't wait until the Bats come to town at the end of the month.

Re: July 7th minor league thread

Prospects on the Dayton club, in my opinion from watching them, in order (I think the top three will at least reach Triple-A and the others will at least reach Double-A and obviously, I will need to see a lot more of Soto after only seeing him for one game):

1) Soto
2) Stewart
3) Cozart
4) Lotzkar
5) Waring
6) Horst
7) Jeffords
8) Mesoraco

I would expect Soto, Stewart, Lotzkar, and Mes as for sure guys on the list to reach the majors some day...

Jeffords has a very good chance...

We will see how Cozart's bat improves, and same with Waring...

Know nothing about Horst...

Louisville goes 1-2-3 thanks to a double play after a Mackowiak walk.

Re: Monday July 7th minor league updates

Jeremy Horst allowed a solo HR in the first and Dayton is down 1-0 as they head to the bottom of 1.

Re: Monday July 7th minor league updates

Homer Bailey gets a grounder to first, a strikeout and a pop up to CF in the first inning on something around 10 pitches.

Re: Monday July 7th minor league updates

Bailey allows a 'double' to the leadoff hitter in the second on a ball that landed in front of LF Griffin and then he let it roll off his glove, but the scorer gives him a double.
