Okay, I love Barry Larkin...but good lord, end it already. He's thanked every individual in the Reds organization. :O)

I liked the shot he took at the former Reds regime there -- thanking the Washington Nationals and Jim Bowden for giving him a job after his playing career was over.

I know. I can't get over how long he's rambling. I mean it's his night, I get it...but seriously, somebody needs to run over there and tackle him.

Did you see Johnny Bench checking the time on his phone?

Re: Reds / Mets 7/19/08
Yes. It was brief and to-the-point. He thanked the Reds, and said that he was very proud to be a part of the BRM. He then concluded by thanking the fans--"the best fans in the world".

He probably was--I'm sure it's quite warm out there, and they are wearing red blazers.
I agree with Sir charles--I like Larkin, but that went a little long.

It was getting to the point that I was starting to look forward to a JTM commercial. *grin*
